OMO’BA ADEOLA ALIMOT ADETORO HITS THE GROUND RUNNING WITH THE INAUGURATION OF THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (NYCN) ETI-OSA LOCAL BRANCH

In a bold and historic move towards youth empowerment, inclusive governance and the HEYIGA Agenda, the Executive Chairman, Eti-Osa Local Government, Omo’ba Adeola Alimot Adetoro, has officially inaugurated the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Eti-Osa Local Branch, the first of its kind in the history of Eti-Osa.

The inauguration, held on Thursday, 23rd October, 2025, at the Eti-Osa Local Government Hall, brought together youth leaders, community based organizations, voluntary organizations and representatives of the NYCN Lagos State Chapter, led by Comrade Hamed Abdulkareem, the State Vice Chairman Lagos Central Senatorial District.

In her address, Omo’ba Adeola Alimot Adetoro emphasized the pivotal role of young people in driving innovation, peace, and sustainable development within the local government. She reaffirmed her administration’s unwavering commitment to supporting youth-oriented initiatives, leadership training, and empowerment programmes that would prepare the next generation for civic responsibility and nation-building.

She noted that Eti-Osa has hit the ground running with record-breaking initiatives aimed at promoting inclusiveness and participatory governance, with the inauguration of the NYCN local branch marking another milestone in this administration’s vision for youth engagement whilst their list are as follows:

The newly inaugurated executives of the council were Congratulated, charged to serve with integrity, unity, and dedication towards advancing the collective interest of Eti-Osa youths.
