HON. SAHEED ADESEGUN BANKOLE’S REMARKABLE IMPACT: OVER 1500 YOUTHS, ELDERS, WIDOWS, ENTREPRENEURS, AND RESIDENTS BENEFIT FROM CASH SUPPORT AND FOOD PALLIATIVE INITIATIVE IN ETI-OSA

The cash support and food palliative initiative for the esteemed residents of Eti-Osa Local Government under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Saheed Adesegun Bankole was a two-day event which held on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th of March, respectively. The laudable programme organised by the LG boss and his team is intended to support and ease the burdens of the good people of the community in these challenging times.

Over 1000 residents within the categories of youths, elders, widows, entrepreneurs, and traders benefitted from the financial assistance. A grant of one hundred thousand(#100,000)naira only, was offered to established business owners, while the sum of fifty thousand (#50,000) naira only was given out to each widows and the aged. And for the market women, they were provided a grant of twenty-five thousand (25,000)naira only.

In the same vein, over 500 residents benefitted from the food packackages which were distributed the following day, Wednesday 27th.

The Executive Chairman, who was represented by his vice, Omooba Adeola Adetoro Adeyanju, said the initiative is a testament to his commitment to the well-being of the people of the community. He reiterated on his hope for the financial aids to alleviate some of the burdens faced by the residents and empower them to pursue their aspirations.

The beneficiaries who were overwhelmed by the laudable gesture, prayed for and appreciated the Executive Chairman and his formidable team for always having the interests of the community at heart and for seeking ways to help alleviate their burdens.
